Madison Downe, M.Sc.


Madison is a Researcher at the CCA. As a researcher she is responsible for researching, writing, and providing project management support on various assessments.

Prior to joining the CCA in 2017, Madison worked as a student for Parks Canada for six years at the Prince Edward Island National Park, initially in Heritage Communication. She worked at various historic sites including Province House and Green Gables Heritage Place, and then in Resource Conservation, where she participated in ecological sampling and monitoring projects.

She has a B.Sc in Environmental Science for Mount Allison University and did graduate work in Geography at the University of Guelph. Madison also currently volunteers at the Canadian Museum of Nature with their Botany in Action program in association with the National Herbarium of Canada.

Madison has worked on the following CCA assessments: Older Canadians on Move, Medical Assistance in Dying, The Labour Market Transition of PhD Graduates, Connected and Autonomous Vehicles and Shared Mobility, and the Circular Economy in Canada.
