Jean-Éric Tarride is the McMaster Chair of Heath Technology Management, Director of the Centre for Health Economics and Policy Analysis (CHEPA); Professor of Heath Technology Assessment in the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence and Impact (HEI); and Associate Member of the Department of Economics at McMaster University. Dr. Tarride is also the Director of the Programs for Assessment of Technology in Health (PATH), the Research Institute of St. Joe’s Hamilton, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. His primary research interests are in methods for health technology assessments (HTAs) and economic evaluations of healthcare technologies and programs, use of real-world evidence and re-assessments. Dr. Tarride has authored more than 180 peer-reviewed journal articles and has successfully collaborated with clinicians and academics by providing economic leadership in more than 70 peer-reviewed grants. He is currently a Core Member (Health Economist) of Canadian Agency for Drugs and Healthcare Technologies (CADTH) Health Technology Expert Review Panel (HTERP) advisory committee.
