CCA celebrates its 15th anniversary
15 years. 50 reports. Infinite possibilities.
In 2005 the Council of Canadian Academies (CCA) arrived on the science policy landscape. Our mandate was simple ― answer the questions put to us with the aim of informing decision-making in Canada. No politics, just evidence ― carefully curated and assembled by experts from across a spectrum of disciplines. Fifteen years on and the need for credible, non-partisan and independent evidence remains just as important. To date, we have released more than 50 reports on some of the most pressing questions facing Canada.
To celebrate our milestone anniversary, we reached out to prominent individuals across Canada for their big questions. We approached them with a simple ask: What is an important topic or issue that would benefit from good evidence and information? And they delivered. Over the next several weeks we’ll share their questions across Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Join the conversation!
