David Natcher

Trained as a cultural anthropologist, Dr. David Natcher holds graduate degrees from the University of Alaska Fairbanks (Northern Circumpolar Studies) and the University of Alberta (Anthropology). Dr. Natcher has held faculty appointments at the University of Alaska Anchorage and a Tier II Canada Research Chair at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Dr. Natcher is currently a Professor in the Department of Agriculture and Resource Economics at the University of Saskatchewan and holds a University of the Arctic Research Chair in Water, Energy, and Food (WEF) Security in the Arctic.
